WELCOME TO THE COLONIA CUAHUTÉMOC

The neighbourhood is located in the northern part of the Cuauhtémoc delegation. It was developed in the late nineteenth century, and it was until the 1940s, when it began to fill up with large buildings, mostly housing. Surrounded by important sites, such as the Mexican Stock Exchange and the Angel of Independence, today it is part of the tourist corridor, Paseo de la Reforma. Within it are crowded cafés, hotels, outstanding museums, art galleries and some theaters, some of the last located near in the vicinity of the San Rafael neighbourhood.
